A Detroit-San Diego World Series, 40-years on, would be cool.

Yes to everything just said, especially given they're heading for Baltimore this weekend. However, they finish with series against the Rays and White Sox.

Kurt Bevacqua to the white courtesy phone, please.

And the Orioles are behind again on another leadoff HR by Yaz.

    And once again, weak contact.

EDIT: I've fought off this idea to this point, giving them credit that pro athletes are due. But I believe these guys are completely spooked. I don't know how soon they come back from it, either.

Angels and the White Sox headed to the 13th tied 3-3 in front of dozens of fans in Anaheim. Halos left the bases loaded in the 12th after keeping Chicago from scoring.

They’ll sweep the Orioles. Hapless twats.

    I'm watching old Merrie Melodies.

    It's all I can do.

Both teams treating a win like the plague. I don't want it, you take it.

Anyone who gets in has a chance -- the AL is going to be a free-for-all. There's not one team that's THE favorite and everyone has pitching problems.
