Iconic has to go to Shohei. It's the greatest game in which the player recorded a really significant season or career milestone. Has to be.
On its own, I'd go with Whiten's game because he hit four HR and drove in a record 12 runs in only five ABs. Ohtani's day, while awesome, was capped by a three-run HR against a position player who was just tossing lobs up there.

 

That is the most amazing part of it. Talk about letting a guy take one for the club ......

 

Saw this on Twitter, can't refind it. In all of major league history, only one player has had the following performances in all the games of his career. That is to say, any combination of games where he did one or more of the following. 15+ total bases, 6+ hits, 10+ RBI, 3+ HR, 2+ stolen bases. That would be Ohtani, last night.

 

Ohtani’s last hit/homer came off a second baseman who was probably throwing 60-mph heaters. Still a great day, but that cheapens it a bit.

 

The game yesterday moved his WAR from 7.3 to 7.8. If you take out the defensive component, he's now at 9.4
