Payrolls are DOWN 5 percent while MLB revenues are continuing to climb.

No wonder they’re turning to parlay cards to make ends meet!

Your prediction is getting closer. 15-11 in the top of the ninth with 33 hits so far. And the Dodgers still have last licks.

Yamamoto gave up five runs in one inning and Ohtani is involved in a gambling scandal. That's a hell of a start for the Dodgers.

The A's have always gone in cycles, it seems, and they'll be back.

They remind me of the Orioles in recent years.

I don't know about that - they seem to trade away their best players for second-tier prospects. Other teams know the A's gameplan and play it better than they do now. And the owner is a turd.

The A's 2024 payroll is $20m LESS than it was 10 YEARS AGO! Lower than it was 20 years ago.

With inflation - their payroll should be at least $80m. It isn't like they're selling beer and ad time with 2003 prices.

Dreadful, how nobody had the sense to pull the plug on it earlier than they did is beyond me.

The lockout for December 2026 was a stone-cold lock even before the union mutiny/coup.
