I still fail to understand why he needed to be on the majors to work himself into game shape.

 

Johnny was a major liability out there. Bucky could have been a hell of a player if he could have got past his drinking issues on the field. Dude could rake.

 

When it comes to analytics, he's no Lisa Simpson.

 

George Costanza as a backup catcher. Although he would have been suspended for violating the Buster Posey rule when he ran over Bette Midler.

And with the media coverage of the World Series, did any reporter ask why the heck would the Peaches trade their ace pitcher to their rival right after the clincher?
