    Be sure to ask every player for an autograph. Ignore what it says on your press pass. Everybody does it.

    Don't use the trash cans as spitters (on a serious note). I was told it was "highly inappropriate" by a PR guy.

    Local NFL team never seemed to care, so I didn't think twice about it.

    But understand that most guys won't remember that you asked. Unless it involves money or poontang, they don't remember much.

    True, it was like 50-50 on people actually remembering.

    If your request is important enough to schedule a 1 on 1, talk to the media relations rep. If they're good, they'll remind the player.
