And the suckass Tigers now have a five-game history of throwing away bunted balls.

God, I hope not. Although, I'm certain he'll take credit for the Tigers shitting the bed the last three games.

That Wainwright kid sure likes to milk his historic moments on the mound. I can see why the Cards would rather he did something besides close.
I think it's fair to say both sides were pressing a bit tonight. Had this series somehow gone to a 7th game there might have been 14 combined errors, double pickoffs, suicide squeezes turned into triple plays. would've been great.

Eckstein's gonna need a booster seat for that Corvette.

The American League and the Cardinal haters can all blow me.

    Dear Miss Zalasko,

Once you've tried and failed to get somebody to say "World Series Champions" don't turn to the next guy and try the same schtick. And for God's sake, once you've failed twice don't try it a third and fourth time.

    Thanks,

    The viewers

can someone confirm, did Selig just call the MVP David Eck-steen, like it was his bar mitzvah? And then corrected the pronunciation--Eck-stine--at the end of his little speech??
