Can't like the Dodgers position. I know it's only one game, but that seemed like the best shot to win a game on the road when you consider that the Mets started someone with no experience and they have Glavine pitching in Game 2.

Sure, Gold, but the Dodgers will probably pound Glavine for no rhyme or reason.

It's not like anything the Dodgers have done this year has followed any sort of logic. But I think the Mets starting 8 is a lot better than the Dodgers.

It'll probably go 5 games. I don't see the Mets winning in 3 or 4. Maybe 5, though. Who knows. I just hope someone delivers a Scioscia-like homer.

    Let's be really precise.

Mets . . . in four, after losing Game II.

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday, and I personally guarantee I won't let that happen, Ben.

ESPN just reported that Giambi has arrived at Yankee Stadium.

    Carry on.

Cradle, send me a few Dodgerdogs? Been far too long since I've had one.

I listened to the great Bob Murphy and Thorne as a kid, so Gary's voice always brings back good feelings, but today's broadcast was disgusting.

Not at all unlike having Eric Byrnes shill for his old teammates on ESPN's pregame show. ESPN is so rotted, so Edward-Gibbons-putrified. In all seriousness, I can't believe that I once even liked ESPN.

Good luck in prison. Remember, don't bend over and don't drop bars of soap.

I plan to have a couple each game, and I'll definitely shoot a few your way.
