    Yankees money issues:
They are paying about $15-16 mill of A-Rod's contract this year.
Mussina is making $19 mill, Jeter and Giambi are both at $20+ mill, Sheffield is $12 this year.
And now they turn to the $15 million Unit with the bad back to bail them out.

To all you Tigers/AL Central fans:

I am deleriously happy any time the Yankees lose
I am dooley impressed by the Tigers' ability to comeback.
I am dooley impressed by Verlander's ability and propensity for getting out of jams
I am over-fucking-whelmed by Zumaya's talent. Oh. My. God!
The Tigers are better than I thought. I hope to God they can win two at home and get rid of the fucking Yankees.

    But the Twinkies are toast.

He fudged the books and made up those results, huh?

Wow. I'm floored to see that. Agree, though, especially about Zumaya. First appearance this season was against the Royals. He threw 99, 100 and 101 and consecutive pitches to strike out someone on just those three. And from that moment on, I paid attention whenever he entered the game. He just brings it.

And now, I'm curious whether Leyland abandons his stance not to use Zumaya with no breaks between games should he need another performance like that.

A- Rod is doing such a great job that Joe Torre has decided to bat him 6th in lineup.

I am hard pressed to come up with another player of A-rods reputation that batted 6th in post season.

First of all, last week's Royals-Tigers series is almost as irrelevant as you are. Don't you understand? This series doesn't matter. Three games. Four games. Five games. The Yanks are going to win.

You keep saying it hasn't been easy for the Bombers. It's been two games, one of which the Yanks weren't ever in danger of losing. You know, the 8-4 win, which wasn't that close.

Keep hoping against hope. Pin your hopes on Kenny Rogers tomorrow. He's a big game pitcher. He won't choke. Then, after the Yankees win the Series, you can join me in the real fucking world.

Only the greatest lineup ever assembled.

I've seen ARod bat 6th in an All-Star game, sure.

I counted six times he used Zumaya on back to back days this year. Leyland should be removed from the dugout if he doesn't use Zumaya in a 1 run game tomorrow night.

You are hard-pressed to spell cat correctly.

Don't you get it? It's beyond stupid to blame ARod every time the Yanks lose. He's not the reason they lost today's game. Save for Damon and Matsui, the rest of the Yankees did shit today. Why isn't Sheffield catching heat? Oh, I forgot. He's a Yankee, whatever the fuck that means.

I swear to God, I hope ARod hits a World Series winning home run and he tells the fans, media, Torre, Steinbrenner, Cashman and his teammates to fuck off. I hope he gives people a reason to hate him, other than for the fact that he's a great player and make a ton of money.

The 2006 Yankees are better than those teams. Feel free to keep hoping against hope, though. You can also feel free to believe in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.
