And by 3-run home run I meant 3-1 putout.

Oh, and two nice ABs by Furcal and Lofton to start the inning. Way to set the table.

In 24 outs, Lofton won't be a Dodger anymore.

Since '88 I've waited for a Dodgers team to do something ANYTHING in the playoffs. This is just pathetic. Dodgers suck more than TV/TG's in Amsterdam porn theaters.

When will the "playoffs are boring without the Yankees" rants begin? I'd like to leave the room when those start.

You know, come to think of it... forget that shit I said earlier about Fox losing its ratings with the Yanks gone. Enough people who saw that post-game celebration may just wanna tune in and follow the Tigers.

And to a true baseball fan, the postseason is NEVER boring.

    Rave on, Detroit.

The ratings nightmare would be A's-Padres.

If it was A's-Padres, an earthquake would shake things up.

You wouldn't have known they had the best record from the buildup. I count 17 "experts" on http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/playoffs2006/news/story?id=2610409this page -- see how many of them picked Detroit.

That's the cocksucker Trachsel that I detest.

That ump needs to be dragged from behind the plate and have the curtain drawn.
