Playoff baseball without Joe Buck...I'm loving Tigers-A's already.

Would you rule that Chavez play an error? I'm on the fence.

    Zito looked great through two.

Since? Not so much. He's getting hammered...5-0 Tigers.

And the A's can't get a hit to save their lives with someone on base. Second and third no one out and they don't score and just now first and second no one out and they don't score.

When was the last time Fox assigned the B-team to the ALCS? Angels-Twins in 2002? Other than that (and I'm not even sure I'm right about that one), I can't remember it happening any other time since they've had both LCS.

Without Joe Buck and Tim Mc Carver what a joy to listen to.

Joe Buck will still manage to ruin the World Series.

No, I thought it was a hit.

Even though the radar gun readings are souped up for the playoffs, that Tigers bullpen is incredible.

Zumaya was hitting between 99-101 on the stadium radar gun. He hit 102 a couple of times, those of which did not show up on the Fox gun. They probably would have registered at 104 or 105 for the TV broadcast. Rodney hasn't thrown harder than 96 or 97 all year, about where he was last night. Still, those two are a tough, tough combination.
