    Yeah, Suppan and Reyes sure scare me and the fucking Genius manager is only carrying 4 starters because Jason Marquise.

    I don't know why everyone's getting worked up. The Mets are going to lose. St. Louis has Pujols and Rolen and Edmonds. If, by chance, they slip by that trio, Leyland's young arms are going to be too much.

    I'd agree with that if there wasn't such a disparity between Carpenter at home and on the road. Somebody other than
    Carpenter is going to have to win at least two games in this series for the Cards anyway, so why not use him at home, where he's been nearly unbeatable instead of on the road, where he's been average (4.70 ERA)? If the Cardinals are down 2-0 with Carpenter pitching Game 3 at home, they're still in the series. If they're down 2-0 with Suppan, Reyes and Weaver (on short rest) lined up for the next three, they're devastated.
