    In the playoffs the last two years, it seems once teams get some momentum they just plow through the series. It hasn't made for dramatic baseball.

    After saying starting Chris Carpenter was the way to go, he gives up a three-run blast in the first to Carlos Delgado. Not that I'm weeping for the Cardinals, of course.

    Delgado just hit his THIRD home run of the series. Mets 5-4 in fifth.
