Should Rolen struggle, it won't be his fault. Blame the O-line, receivers, backs, coaches, media pressure, lack of support from the organization...

 

Anybody know why Rolen and LaRussa aren't speaking? LaRussa, that baseball genius, the Steven Hawking of percentages, isn't talking to his third baseman? His baseball MENSA card should be revoked.

 

You mean other than because Rolen is a pussy and can't take even the slightest bit of criticism?

In all seriousness, I think late in the season LaRussa benched him, presumably to let whatever his ailment of the week was heal. Rolen supposedly found out about it when he saw the lineup card and got pissy about it.

 

Rolen really has torpedoed his rep this postseason with his poutiness and pitiful play.

Ah, if only this were his free-agent year.
