For the first time since Chief Knock-a-homa was still doing war chants in the outfield of AFCS, I couldn't care less about the start of the MLB season. F'ing COVID!

Of course not. Pump it up to 72 games. Eight games against the other nine teams in the leagues. Four-game series in each site so it's only one trip into each city.

If you aren't going to move someone and put Portland in the AL West and Nashville in the NL Central, I'm good with that

It wants to get to 32, but it needs to get Oakland and Tampa resolved.

Nashville would be an ideal landing place for an AL team with stadium issues that’s in need of a good home. Would fill a significant hole in the AL’s map and give Atlanta a logical interleague rival.

AL West: Seattle, Portland, Oakland, Anaheim
AL Midwest: Texas, Houston, Minnesota, Kansas City
AL Mideast: Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Toronto
AL East: Tampa, Boston, New York, Baltimore

NL West: San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Arizona
NL Midwest: Colorado, St. Louis, Chicago, Milwaukee
NL Mideast: Atlanta, Nashville, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh
NL East: Washington, Miami, New York, Philadelphia

(Or you could switch Miami and Pittsburgh)

    TigerVols-

Knockahoma was the most tone-deaf one, I think.

Undoubtedly. I do believe Ted has subsequently mea culpa’d about it.

This gets rid of the wild card and takes 4 division charmions for the LDSes. Or you could keep the one-game playoff between the weakest division winner and the top No. 2 team.

Portland is not a baseball city.

Nashville is the fastest-growing center among second-tier cities.
