Most of those stats have to be attributed to the Ghosts, though...

    Another garbage-time homer by Uggla.

    He should be sent down.

    Called a friend.
Chuck James just sucked tonight ... he wasn't hurt.
The Braves could win the World Series if their starting pitching was better. They have every other piece ... except, ya know, a manager who wins in the postseason.

Helton is hitting .396 with an obp of .528 after his second-inning home run tonight.

Since his rookie season in 1997, he's hit .302 or better every year. Except last year's .302, he'd hit .315 or higher every season since '97.

Say what you want about steroids and his power decline, but he has always been such an absolutely phenomenal hitter. Coming into this season, in more than 5,200 abs, he has a .334 career average and a .432 obp. He had 291 career home runs.

Part of me wants him to retire in Denver, but part of me really wants him to play for a contender and get the ring he deserves. And I hope his career average stays above .333 when he retires.

Doesn't make him a great postseason manager. He should have more than one WS ring ... surely you of all people know that.

Helton ain't my pick for NL West white steroid boy... gotta go with Brian Giles there.

I love Bobby as much as any non-serious Braves fan could ... but with some of those teams he had, and especially the pitching he had, he should have won at least one more WS. That is my opinion, and it has been for a long time. Maybe I'm wrong.

With it tied at 2, Rivera gives up a HR to Beltre in the ninth
