I'm not sure which pisses me off more. KC blowing a game that I could see coming from a mile away, or the fact that I have to listen to Hawk Harrelson cream his fucking pants when they do it. Fuck the White Sox, and Fuck Hawk Harrelson... except when he's beating the shit out of Mariotti.

I'll be in the sixth row behind home plate July 6. Wearing a Twins cap I have yet to buy. :D

"This was one where we go and get the momentum and we weren't even jabbed at; we got hit with a haymaker," (Lou) Piniella said. "I wish I had an explanation."

Those two will never, Never, NEVER work for the Jays under JP. They do not work well with others, especially GMs who have little to no regard for the manager. They'll want to run the show, a la Belichick, wherever they land next.

One big difference: Valentine has earned the right to call the shots. Girardi is just an antisocial jerk with one bolt of lightning year under his belt.

True. I just wish JP and John would exit together. Neither have done a great job. JP is in his sixth year of a five-year plan.

    Thank you sir. :D

I bet if Valentine goes anywhere, it's to Seattle. Bavasi and Hargrove are probably out after this year, so there's a chance for Valentine to get a dual gig. And I'd bet the M's Japanese ownership would love to have him...he'd make the franchise even bigger in Japan.

Plus, he wanted Ichiro in 2001 but the dumbass fuckin Mets ignored him. Like usual. But it's OK. They made up for it with Kaz Matsui.

MLB.com says they are playing but my MLB Extra Innings package has the green Rain Delay screen.

Back up and running on Extra Innings. 3-2 FLA in the bottom of the ninth. One on, none out.

    cool. thanks for the update

  12. Their lineup was never that good. The piranhas 15 minutes of fame has clearly expired which began in the playoffs last year.

You can get those guys out easily. There is a reason why Punto, Tyner, Rabe, and Luis Rodriguez are fringe players at best.

The Twins were able to survive April, but they were not playing that great either. They have been lousy since their series against the Yankees. It's not only that they can't hit. They can't field, run, or throw the ball to the fielders.

    It's just bad right now.
