Since Jupiter-head didn't hit any homers today, you may get a chance on the highlights tonight to see the M's throw some leather. Betancourt made a play in the hole on Phelps...the throw still has me scratching my head. Degree of difficulty off the charts.

I hate to jump the gun on the jury, but; perhaps they can send him down to Michael Vick's backyard to spend an afternoon. Then they can put him on injured reserve.

 

I hope Angelos was watching today and taking notes. Unless I completely missed something, Perlozzo doesn't seem to know what he's doing.

 

Shouldn't the ESPN Game of the Week guys be required to have their facts straight if they are going to talk about the town the baseball field is in?

They just said they aren't far from the start of the Mississippi. Which of course, depends on your definition of close. The headwaters are about 300 miles from the Twin Cities. :

Didn't see the game, but that is classic Overmanaging 101 in late 20th-, early 21st century baseball. Still, I'd be shocked if Perlozzo is canned. Like I've said before, if he goes, then Mazzone goes, and I think they want to see what kind of effect he can have on this young staff.
