Is Gustavo Molina, of the White Sox, related to Bengie, Yadier and Jose?

I think Harry Kalas was blaming you on the air. :)

You have to be impressed with how Wang is pitching for the Yankees. He's been a real shot in the arm for the Bombers.

I just heard a cut with A-Rod where he said "I'm not much into marketing." Uh...right. And Mike Vick isn't into dogfighting. :)

He's not quite 1 K/9 IP, but Jeremy Sowers is finding it tough to live with an incredibly low K rate.

Wang will too, and soon. Just not tonight, apparently.

I think KC's starters ought to get together and haze the rest of the team. First Meche throws seven scoreless on Monday, with nothing to show for it.

Tonight, Odalis Perez throws six innings of one-hit ball. Leaves up 2-0 (with the offense either striking out or waving at the first pitch). Bullpen just needs 1 1/3 to blow the fucking lead.

    Un-be-fucking-lievable.

    No, it's not.

EDIT: KC rallies for two in the ninth... unfortunately, the A's still have 3 outs.

EDIT: KC wins. WTF do I know?

Ed Rapuano got hit by a tip on the Adam's apple... then forgot how to umpire tonight.

He should be suspended for calling the last pitch a ball and not a strike.... and this coming from a guy who got a nice cheap win from Hoffman because of it.

In the eighth, the usually top-notch man in blue called a foul tip on Mike Cameron, when the pitch never got within 3 inches of the bat.

Jorge Sosa goes seven scoreless and basically assures himself of that fifth slot when El Duque comes back. Jason Vargas gets his turn to escape the life of New Orleans tomorrow afternoon.

Bronson Arroyo runs out of gas again, this time in the 9th inning. 2-4 with a 2.79 ERA. 3-2 loss.

Tell me this, though: Why is this run earned? This is the 9th inning. No out was ever recorded:

    - K. Greene singled to center
    - M. Cameron singled to left, K. Greene to second
    - J. Bard reached on fielder's choice, K. Greene to third, M. Cameron to second on pitcher B. Arroyo's throwing error
    - K. Kouzmanoff walked, K. Greene scored, M. Cameron to third, J. Bard to second

    END OF GAME

Shouldn't that be unearned since an error allowed the walk to drive in a run?

I thought it might be because there were still no outs when the game ended.
