Miller Park looks incredibly dank and dark on the tube. Horrible paint scheme too.

Paging Mr. Octavio Dotel... KC could really use you... right about fucking now. Here's hoping that strained ovary is healed up, and you can pitch your one inning every fourth night.

Well my prediction wasn't as good as I thought

    Actual: Eaton 6 IP, 0 ER, 4 H, 5 BB, 2 K

Trade Rowand for Helms and then I was spot on

When the roof is closed at the Safe--or extended, as the management likes to insist--the place looks pretty dreary. No problem with the lights; it's just that dingy stray light sneaks in under the roof, and it makes the artificial light look filtered. Especially on a gray and wet day in Seattle, as today is.

If Sam Perlozzo lasts the month of May as the Orioles manager, I'll be stunned. I heard for years how he was such a great coach, but it seems like he's forgotten every damn thing he ever learned about baseball between opening day and now. It's been a stunning collapse for him.

All swinging, all ugly. Golden Sombrero + 1. :-\

He was the tying run in the ninth, but ended the game with two half-hearted swings against Papelbon. I almost feel bad for the guy.

I know he's a better hitter than I ever will be, but isn't he prone to that kind of thing with that big, looping swing?

Holy crap.. can Miller and Morgan give us even 15 seconds of silence please.
Two blowhards who never shut up...and I used to like Miller.

Well, I don't know about you, but some people might need to be told every 45 seconds that they're looking live at Shea Stadium in Flushing, New York.

A question for the SportsJournalists.com baseball minds: Why would Torre not play Jason Giambi ahead of Doug Mientkiewicz at first?

This Yanks rook is lively. First impression is that he'll stick around awhile.
