Comparing the 2006 and 2007 Royals
    2006 Royals: 11-35
    2007 Royals: 18-28

    2006 Royals: 18th win on June 16
    2007 Royals: 18th win on May 22

    2006 Royals: 22 GB
    2007 Royals: 10 1/2 GB

That pitter-patter you hear are the Royals taking the right baby steps. Another great pitching effort tonight by Perez. Greinke and Soria closed the door, and now Dotel is healthy. Baseball in Kansas City, right now any way, is fun.

If the Red Sox secede, sure.

It's like putting a black cocktail dress on a pig the nights he pitches.

    You can almost believe...

buckweaver, the Braves got what they paid for. Anyone with a brain knew Redman was a poor pickup. And Schuerholz and Cox are too sharp to think the guy would be another Charlie Leibrandt.

Yeah but with Liberty Media pinching the pennies...get used to it.

Don't look now, but the White Sox seem to have an offense with Thome back in the lineup. Let's hope he stays healthy.

BYH, they spent money on bullpen help. They got maybe the worst available fifth starter in baseball, when they had enough left over to do better.

Mark Redman has made $15 million in the bigs. Let that one sink in for a moment.

Seriously, the White Sox look like they're gonna make a run.

Hey, I'll talk to myself all night if I have to. Nothing new around here. :)
