MN state hockey tournament - 2010 edition

Nope, that 5th goal was probably the dagger. I have another question, I just saw a Hill-Murray player pull up and not touch the puck on an obvious icing call against Hill. He could have played it but for some reason let the East player take it. Did they change the icing rule?

EDIT: Man, East just missed a chance to tie it up. Going to review.

 

Awww, crap. H-M wins 5-3. Guess I won't be cheering for anybody in Class AA the rest of the way. The north still has Warroad and Hermantown in A, though!

Rosie, I was still living in Duluth when the split happened. I thought maybe you were talking about something more recent. The purist side of me hates the two-class tourney, especially when teams like Breck so clearly violate the spirit of the system. But I can't complain about being able to watch more hockey games.

 

Superior would be kicking Minnesota ass if they were in it.

 

Bubs, you are so deluded. The only reason Superior kicks butt at state in Wisconsin every year is because they play so many Minnesota teams during the regular season. (DUH!) Don't feel like looking up the Spartans record against Minnesota teams, but I think if there was any butt-kicking, Superior was on the receiving end.
