It still amuses me when I see the Criminal Intent episode with Stephen Colbert.
The people behind Modern Family also did the Kelsey Grammar show "Back to You" a couple of years ago. Fred Willard and Ty Burrell were also in the cast. It was a good show, but no Modern Family.

I was stunned Back to You was canceled after just one season. I think I remember reading that one of the reasons was that having Grammer and Heaton on the show was so expensive that it was almost impossible to draw a profit.

It was the strike year as well. But the cast was great. They had Josh Gad, Ayda Field on it as well.

It was a pretty funny show, but given that he had played Frasier for about 20 years, it was strange seeing him in another sitcom role. I liked it a lot when I watched it, but didn't feel that bad if i missed it.

I'm sure that it was pretty expensive. Both of the leads had to be earning super top dollar.

Right after Modern Family started, I happened to be watching an airing of "Blackhawk Down," which I'd never seen. Ty Burrell is an Army Ranger trying to keep a shot-up comrade alive while they're pinned down. Very different, but oddly, a few of the same mannerisms, in a very different context.

Grammer is actually talking to NBC about doing another Frasier show.

Sofia Vergara has the best chest on TV and she's very funny.

When I first started watching the show, I thought "Oh there's that douche from the Dawn of the Dead remake."

Holy shit was last night's episode hilarious. The scene with Cameron's mom and Mitchell in the bathtub had me on the floor.

Didn't love the last episode -- but it was nice to see Phil have a semi-serious scene. The stories for the other two families were just OK, but Gloria knocking her shoulder back in place was pretty funny.

Is it just me, or does Julie Bowen look awful right now? I'm not usually one to judge other people's physiques - I hate the way that the gossip media has almost turned it into sport. But she just looks like she's wasting away. She's a beautiful woman and I hope that if she has some sort of problem, someone steps in to get her some help.

Like I said, I feel icky even bringing this up, because I know that the Internet is full of snark or concern trolling about celebrity eating disorders and such. Maybe I'm seeing something that's not there. But she seems reallllllly thin right now.
