  1. No. 3 got in trouble for G-D the other day at day care. Although the aides were impressed he used the phrase correctly and in proper context. Without trying to make a big deal about it they corrected him. Telling him it wasn't a nice thing to say."

Next morning he - out of the blue - calmly told mom "You shouldn't say God Damn."
He repeatedly told her this several times to make sure she understood she shouldn't say it.

We were at an amusement park over the summer and my oldest and I raced my youngest and my wife down this giant slide. When my then 3-year-old realized that he had lost the race he screamed "Dammit!!!" at the top of his lungs and we had about 20 people just staring directly at us.

Both my wife and I were laughing our asses off.

My daughter was four when she said, "Daddy, what's a doucheball?" Took me a second. Then it dawned on me she'd heard me on the phone with our homebuilder a few minutes earlier.

"DoucheBAG honey. DoucheBAG. Get it right."

My nephew was about the same age when he turned to my Mom and said, "Shut up Grandma, you old bitch." My brother (his dad) and I had to leave the place we were laughing so hard.

I assure you Grandma did not share in the laughter. She insisted they pulled him out of the preschool he was in and I said, "Uh, I'm not too sure that's where he got that one."

I can't stop laughing at this, and I needed to laugh. Thank you.

  9. Just got to watch the episode last night and, for the life of me, I can't see how anyone saw the f-bombs scenes as funny. Not in a prudish sort of way, but it just didn't make me laugh at all. Now some of the other stuff was really well done in the episode. Plus, the kid is kind of creepy to me.

Do you have kids or nieces/nephews? I didn't think they were totally hilarious, but anyone who has been around kids can appreciate the scenario.

  11. I have three kids. And believe me, I watch and laugh at some pretty juvenile humor. The league is pretty much appointment tv. But I read all of these things on the board, with some people talking it up as hilarious, and saw it and just thought, why is that funny? I'm sure it doesn't help that I think the kid is creepy. Maybe if it was an adorable kid, i could have snickered, but not her.

  12. I still think it's one of the best half hour shows on tv.
