That was the best line of the night.

And I cried at Jay's reaction to the baby news. I'll admit it.

Luke has gotten better and better as the show's gone on. He's acting more like his character's father every day.

Yeah, although Luke may have a level of awareness that his father will never achieve.

Was anyone else horrified by the appearance of Chazz Palmienteri? Holy shit. I hope he's not sick. If so, I apologize for bringing it up.

The scene on the lake made me feel pretty old. Al Bundy listening to Winston the Buster of Ghosts and the Interrogator of Keyser Soze talk about how great life is post-65.

Well, yeah, but jeez. Ernie Hudson looked great, Ed O'Neill looks good, but Chazz...yikes.

He didn't look sick. He looked like he was wearing too much makeup.

Didn't think he looked sick, but I just looked it up and he's only 60. So he looked pretty damn old for 60.

  9. After finally watching it, I thought the fast forward at the end was well done and necessary, if for nothing else than to keep it from dragging out.

This show gets better and better. The stuffed animals were great.

I caught up on this week's two new episodes ...

I'll admit, it got dusty in the room when Claire and Phil got the phone call in the car from Hailey as they returned from dropping her off at college.

Just a phenomenal episode all around.

The open to "Schooled," with the family around the table, was the show at its very, very best. "Congratulations. You raised a parrot." "I know better than to embarrass my son at the threshold of manhood." "Haley going to college is a miracle. Lily going to Kindergarten is the law." "Why you looking at me? It was their mother. I was barely around."
