Go on a roadie to Bonavista with the team ... one of the guys yells out 'Flash! Come drink this!'

He hands me a glass that smelled oddly of swill and an air of Coke. Someone else yells out 'Down it!'

I did.

Guy says, 'oh man, that was three parts Screech, one part Coke. You are going to be so sick.'

I wasn't. They thought they could fool the Nova Scotian. Too bad I come from generations of MacFlashes who can handle their hard rum.

From that point, they decided I fit in and I was adopted as a Newfoundlander.

 

Screech isn't Rum, Flash.

It's God's way of punishing Newfies.

 

What did they do to deserve it?

And don't forget to ask for it Dark and Dirty!

 

I assume a Dark & Dirty is Screech and Coke.

Man, I want to go back to Nova Scotia this weekend.

 

Won't be seeing until at least next July. Going to try to be there for the Highland Games and high school reunion.

 

I like Calgary's ranking! It just makes me look forward to my trip there in June.

Well, ever since Stu Hart died and they shut down the Dungeon, I'd have to think Calgary would be a little friendlier.

 

June? Why for June? You're going to miss Stampede.

 

And the only reason Calgary is as high as it is ... more Maritimers here than in the Maritimes!

 

What drives them all to Alberta?
