Lyman's only response to criticism of his country from above the border usually has something to do with condescension and arrogance--which is funny because Fredo and his Gang of Thugs have spent the seven years perfecting those traits--along with a little bit of brass knuckle imperialism.

I just can't imagine going through life with Lyman's Little Man Syndrome. It must be difficult to get through the day.

  4. Look who's got Little Man Syndrome.

On what was a perfectly fine thread, Friend chooses to take a gratuitous slap at the U.S., for no reason whatsoever, by making a statement that is, at best, debatable. I call him on it. So now I'm the one who's got the problem?

Sorry, you have the problem. Some Canucks certainly know how to dish out criticism, but they certainly can't take it.

And JR, again you show your stupidity and intolerance when faced with criticism from south of the border. Brass-knuckle imperialism, my ass.

Lyman, allow me to quote from a noted philosopher, the late Grandma 'Beat.

"If you don't know what you're talking about, kindly shut the fuck up."

    Lyman,
You are making a mountain out of a molehill, going searching for weapons of mass destruction where there are none. All FOTF said was that people in the states don't respond to 'thank you' the way do.

Give me a better description of Fredo's Adventure in Iraq.

I don't think it falls under "international peacekeeping".

The description of the illegal invasion of a foreign country as "brass knuckle imperialism" may be kind.

    How about "crimes against humanity"?

Why don't your just stand up on your chair and shout "USA! USA! USA!" because that's what your silly little arguments are reduced to.

I call it "The reason there should be impeachment hearings," but that's just me.

  9. Take your own advice.

  10. Talk about killing a bug with an A-bomb.

We can talk about all that in the myriad threads you and your buddies start on a daily basis to bleat your righteous indignation.

Why don't you respond to my original point?

The button which shall not be mentioned is working very nicely on this thread.

    Sirs, Madames,

Simply put, Americans are far, far, far less likely to say "You're welcome" than Canadians. Canadians in the U.S. always notice this / remark on this because "You're welcome" is the default response to "Thank you" in Canada. That's that.

    Thank you.

    YHS, etc
