Plenty of great quarterbacks were picked apart fairly or unfairly before the draft. Aaron Rodgers went from surefire No. 1 pick at the combine to falling to the end of the first round largely because he hired the wrong agent and had played for a coach who had sent several busts to the NFL.

I wasn't dismissing Anderson. I was dismissing the argument that Moon only got in the Hall of Fame as an apology for every team in the NFL discriminating against him when he came out of college. Sorry, but he can't come close to backing that one up.

Here are the QBs who played in the Super Bowl Era. Dawson, Starr, Jurgensen and Unitas over lapped.
You are drafting a QB in his Hall of Fame prime. Do you take Moon last? Or second to last or third to last. He's arguably better than Namath and Greise, but they got to and won Super Bowls.
    Troy Aikman 1989-2000
    Terry Bradshaw 1970-1983
    Len Dawson 1957-1975
    John Elway 1983-1998
    Dan Fouts 1973-1987
    Bob Griese 1967-1980
    Sonny Jurgensen 1957-1974
    Jim Kelly 1986-1996
    Dan Marino 1983-1999
    Joe Montana 1979-1994
    Warren Moon 1984-2000
    Joe Namath 1965-1977
    Bart Starr 1956-1971
    Roger Staubach 1969-1979
    Fran Tarkenton 1961-1978 4
    Johnny Unitas 1956-1973

Coming up, Would you rather have Kurt Warner? Phil Simms? Ken Anderson? Vinnie Testaverde?(who played on some really bad teams) Dave Kreig? (Don't laugh, better career winning percentage, better TD/INT ratio, same completion percentage, same # of post season victories)

Arguably Moon makes it, color blind, into Canton. But that fast?
Or arguably he sits with Anderson and Simms and Vinnie and Stabler and Kreig looking from the Hall of Very Good onto the Hall of Fame.

So let him take his Newton money and schill like a good flack and try and goad some team into taking Cam Tebow / Vince Newton. Does Moon have a church that needs a new roof?

The Dave Krieg reference sends this one screaming over the cliff.

You got me. Moon was better than Kreig.

The fact that it has to be pointed out to you proves how far off you are on this. My initial response to your foolishness stands. Thank you for adding even more evidence to back me up.

Truly comical coming from you. You said that Moon got in the Hall of Fame because he was black, then suggested that Dave Krieg was a comparable quarterback. You just keep on demonstrating your ignorance and your desperation to take the guy down.

You post -- Thank you for that display of ignorance -- certainly did not make that clear.

Moon ripped the NFL years ago when Texas A & M quarterback Kevin Murray went undrafted. It's clearly an issue that means a lot to him.

Even if he weren't being paid by Newton's people, I have no doubt he'd say the same things. You're shaped by your experiences, I guess.

Was that 1987? Things have changed a little since then.

The primary point of his post was that Moon only got into the Hall of Fame as an apology for the way he was snubbed due to his race at the beginning of his career. The rest, including the inclusion of Anderson, was meant to back that up.

I'm sorry if it was too complex for some to realize that I was addressing his primary point, not one of the details.
