It might not be anything new, but it's certainly against the law. And you didn't really answer my question. Are racist beliefs opinions to which people are entitled?

I'm just jumping in here, apologies, but are Mark McGwire and dreunc the only ones who feel the need to comment on a supposedly grown man using the term "a black" in 2011?

    Seriously? "A black?"

True. That kind of got lost in the overall racism in his point. It struck me, too, but I kind of got sidetracked. Besides, look at the source.

I have no idea what this means. If we don't believe Warren Moon that Cam Newton is only getting trashed because he's African-American, then we're all racists who don't deserve to cover A-A athletes?

Wrong, drip. A journalists' COVERAGE is supposed to be unbiased. We all have life experiences and things that color how we see things. The key is in not putting that out in beat coverage.

And you posted before that crayon comic, so don't hide behind that.

I just wanted to point out you were making a fool of yourself. But keep taking credit for things you have nothing to do with if it makes you feel better.

Wait, if I CAN'T see that many of the comments AREN'T racist? THEN I have bigger problems?

Are you struggling with double negatives? Or are you just missing the point of what I think you were trying to say?

Other than Mark, who has written anything racist on this thread? Because plenty of us have pointed those out.

How exactly are Moon's points valid? Any quarterback in Newton's position is going to be picked apart. The guy is a lock to go in the top 10 and has a decent shot to go No. 1 overall. Yeah, that racism is really killing Newton's career, isn't it?

The guy was kicked out of one school and was pretty clearly sold to another. It's pretty reasonable that a team would want to check this out before they use a high pick on him and pay him $30 million in guaranteed money.

Granted, anything can happen between now and the draft, but I don't think I've seen a mock draft where he falls into the second half of the first round and he's probably the No. 1 pick in more mocks than anyone else.
