    And at the risk of threadjack, Baggs went from BANG to Comcast, only to return in 2015 when his successor at the Mercury, Alex Pavlovich, took the TV gig he resigned from to write a book.

    No inside knowledge why he left Comcast to return to BANG. I was curious at the time but never followed through with him about it.

    IIRC, he left after the 2014 Series to do a book on the Giants' three titles in six years (he also did one after the 2010 season). Not to forget 2012, while with Comcast, when he was a three-time Jeopardy champion.
