Interesting. Not sure how much it relates to ESPN making cuts, partially because of the quality and content of its programming, but interesting.

I don't get it. Woj is a walking transactions column, as the link notes, but does he bring anything to the table that we weren't getting from any of the dearly departed? Bad timing by the WWL.

None of this process of cuts (and now additions) makes sense.

Welp, guess that changed since the SBNation story. Do that then.

I imagine their (ESPN management) thinking is that he's a "star" personality when it comes to the NBA, since he drops Woj-bombs and what not. I think he does a fantastic job, but yeah, I agree with you.

That's the one I'm least concerned about. There could be a range of draw sizes...

I'm more on the bandwagon of combining men & women + fewer tournaments.

Imagine how much more special tennis would feel if tournaments were... say... every other week... men+women...

And how about we pack things up in early October while we're at it ?

    Let tennis sleep-- Oct/Nov/Dec.

The build for Australia in January? Would feel like an exciting oasis.

Isn't tennis between the U.S. Open and Australia only there for gamblers? I see all of these tennis sports books online in Europe/Asia.

Gamblers and Asian tennis fans. That's when the tours go there.

Gamblers and Asian tennis fans and ranking points (for the journeymen) and appearance fees (for the stars).

I feel precisely the same about golf after the Tour Championship. There is zero offseason. It's exhausting. And I work in golf.
