This thread started with Yawn posting the Clinton list of dead folks that some believe the Clintons had rubbed out because they had information on the Clintons. Whether or not it's bullshit is another argument. But to insinuate that Bush had the 3,100 "rubbed out" is bullshit to the nth degree.

In the end, what we're talking about is the fact that had Clinton done exactly what Bush did with regard to Iraq and Hussein, people like Ellis would be fine with it. But his hatred of Bush began long before Bush ever even did his first act as president.

    You forgot dope-smoking and commie-loving. ;)

Alright, enough of this. I still have to watch the rest of 24 and Studio 60.

Ah, so the truth is OK here?

But when those names are listed, the truth doesn't matter anymore?

For some reason, I find it far more shameful to attempt to lessen the importance of those deaths -- and make no mistake about it, when you fire out "soldiers die in wars," that's exactly what you're doing -- than to draw attention to them.

    Maybe that's just me.

  6. Yep, you're right, tony. I've always hated Bush (even before he was president), and have said so several times on this board. That stupid motherfucker traded Sammy Sosa, Wilson Alvarez and Scott Fletcher to the White Sox for Harold Baines and Fred Manrique. Like you, I'm a one-trick pony who only posts on political threads with the goal of getting a rise out of people.

Well, then feel free to blame all the dems who voted for the war. Until you do, you're a raging hypocrite.

No, what we're talking about here is the use of dead people for political gain. You have a problem with Ellis doing it, because he's a liberal and it makes a liberal point. That's all there is to it. And you shift the purpose of the debate every chance you get so that you can make assumptions about liberals as often as possible, thereby demonizing liberals and showing the almighty righteousness of the Right. That's what we're talking about.

    WTF?

That's one helluva jump there. Maybe you could explain to me how this argument, in response to my post, makes sense to you?
