  1. Robin Ventura's ankle...Moise Alou's wobble rounding first...the pole vault in the back recently was pretty brutal looking

A list that is missing Clint Malarchuk's name is flawed.

I remember George "The Animal" Steele dislocating a guy's shoulder. I'm sure the stiff could do it anytime he wanted to and got an extra $10 and 12 PBRs for his effort.

But for a 10-year-old 93Devil, it was pretty horrific.

I remember Van Vader breaking a guy's back with a power bomb on the concrete in WCW. I thought the guy was dead.

John Ellis once broke his ankle sliding into second, and he rolled on his back in agony as his foot rocked from side to side like a sack of meat. This was in 1976, and I think I only saw the clip once, and I just felt my stomach flip over again.

Seen it hundreds of times, but it never ceases to make my stomach turn.

That's the first one that came to mind; although Dravecky's arm disintegrating mid-pitch wasn't far behind.

Mallard's slashed throat has to be there. That was scary shit.

Freddie Mitchell's broken leg at UCLA was pretty bad...he wound up kicking himself in the back of his head with his HEEL.

Willis McGahee in the Orange Bowl and Jason Kendall immediately jumped to mind, but Malarchuk is the clear "winner" here.
