    Youth? Not exactly a kid, but this was the first song that came to me. Oct. 95, so would have been freshman year of college.

    This one, part of the Overture from Rush's 2112 and not for the reason you might think. Yes, I was a fan, but The New Music, hosted for years by J.D. - now John - Roberts, was must-see viewing every Saturday night in Toronto. It had features on local and Canadian artists and international acts when they came through town, opened my eyes and ears to so much great stuff when I was starting to get seriously into music. ( was 14 when this episode aired.)
