Movie Catnip: Films so bad, you can't NOT watch

Talledega Nights is bad, bad, bad, but the supporting performances by John C. Reilly, Gary Cole, and especially, Sacha Baron Cohen, make it hard for me to resist.

It helps that I watch it from the perspective of a F1 fan instead of a NASCAR fan.

So, God only knows why, rented Good Luck Chuck the other night. Not sure if I got the unrated version or not - must have. Because that thing was like Boobapalooza. Interesting looks I got from Mrs. jps as those things kept popping up for 90 minutes or whatever it was ... though she's rented a few that wound up turning a pretty nudie direction, so I get a few passes. Honestly didn't know that was gonna happen ... and think it falls into this category. Though the made-for-cable version is going to be much less interesting, I'm sure.

Talladega Nights made me laugh and laugh and laugh.

Lagged a little at the end, but that's OK. I got more than my money's worth for most of it...especially since I saw it on HBO-23.

Just couldn't get it. Even watched it on fast forward with beer.

    Still, nothing.

Nah, he died for being in SOB. A guilty pleasure, but I can admit it's a mishmash of inside jokes done far worse than the same concept in The Player.

And the original Batman movie is so bad it's awesome. Ondeadline used to have Batman trying to get rid of the bomb as his avatar.

The ORIGINAL Batman movie with Adam West (featuring the unholy quartet of The Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman and The Riddler, for those who have never seen it) was the ultimate in cheesiness. And, not surprisingly, it's Little Man's FAVORITE movie ever. He loves the part where the shark is knocked off using the very convenient Shark Repellent Bat Spray.

If we were going to have a Movie Catnip Hall of Fame, wouldn't Travolta and Swayze be the Ty Cobb and Christy Mathewson?

Which tells all and sundry just how great Pulp Fiction is, since not even Travolta could ruin it.

Travolta is capable of starring in very good films (Pulp Fiction, Saturday Night Fever, Primary Colors) and he makes bad films oddly enjoyable.

Roadhouse (and just think of how often you'll be seeing it after Swayze's imminent departure).
Any discussion of bad Travolta flicks must include "Be Cool," with that incredible supporting cast.
And I'm shocked we've gone almost four pages without any mention of the collective works of Andy Sedaris.

After seeing that Zardoz promo pic...I'll take Your Mother's Fantasies"for $1,200, Trebek.
