The end of It's A Wonderful Life when George Bailey's brother Harry says, "To my big brother, the richest man in town.''

In Hoosiers, the huddle before the final shot when Jimmy Chitwood says, "I'll make it, coach.''

Pride of the Yankees, when Cooper/Gehrig walks into the dugout after The Speech.

Many of my usual suspects have been mentioned: Field of Dreams, Bambi, It's a Wonderful Life, Rudy (I don't understand why people say it's a horrible sports movie).

But one of my biggest is Sense and Sensibility, when Emma Thompson realizes Hugh Grant is not married and starts crying, I started bawling, too. Totally unexpected.

The penny scene from "Ghost," that always gets me.

I don't know if I've ever teared up watching it, but I thought it sucked when Caretaker was killed in the original Longest Yard. Very sympathetic character who goes out in a terrible way. The way it's shot kind of prolonges the agony too.

That was some cold-blooded shit, putting that accelerant in the light bulb.

I also cried when Boba Fett got eaten by the giant sand vagina in Return Of The Jedi. He's got 977 years to go to be fully digested.

  6. I always wondered if the sand hole got an "I Ate The Worm!" T-shirt.

If the Dune sand worms met the Return Of The Jedi sand vagina, what would they spawn?

Probably a planet full of Star Wars/Dune nerds is my guess.

  8. When they find E.T. in the ditch.

Act 3 of Umbrellas of Cherbourg

Ahhhhhh, M*A*S*H, my favorite TV show of all time.

I get a bit teary eyed when Charles sees the POWs off and they play that Chinese orchestral music to him and then later, he ends up working on one of them ... such a tear-jerker.
