I felt that way as well. I'm sure movie snobs are going to call people who hated the ending of the movie anti-intellectual, but it was thoroughly unsatisfying. I understand what they were going for. It's just that just a tiny bit of resolution would have been far superior to their statement. It didn't ruin the movie, but it turned what was shaping up as one of the best movies I've seen in a long time to one that didn't live up to its promise. All that said, the movie's well-shot and perfectly acted. Bardem's got to be the frontrunner to win a supporting actor award. One of the great cold-blooded villains of all-time.

I wasn't ripping on it, I'd just never heard of it. I heard it went to straight to video and wasn't in the theaters.

Team America is on Comedy Central now, and I'll probably watch the whole thing tonight. I'm a fan.

Is it the uncut version with both golden showers and brown showers?

[That might very well be the most HTML coding I've used in a single post]

Actually, it's uncensored. But I noticed that those two parts of the sex scene were taken out. Apparently they were of poor taste for Comedy Central's standards. Who knew?

They should've at least left the brown shower in but have it in slow motion with one of Sarah Silverman's poop songs as the accompanying soundtrack.

Mmm. Not even scat sex can distort the perfection that is Sarah Silverman.

I never saw The Day After Tomorrow...but part of me wishes that TAWP had been the puppet remake they originally considered making.

I was wondering the same thing -- you just now saw Boondock Saints? No offense at all, 'gola, just that to me and mine it's a long-time classic. It's honestly not even that good a film, but there's something mesmerizing about it.

"Borat." Well, I finally watched it last night after work. Made me laugh many times. Sacha Cohen is very good at what he does. The funniest part, one of them anyway, is when he meets with Bob Barr and gives him cheese, waits for him to chew on it good and tells him his wife made it out of her breast milk. The look on Barr's face is pricess. When he calls one of the women's rights ladies "pussycat" and one of them ups and leaves was good, too. So was the etiquette dinner; another priceless look on the Newt Gingrich lookalike when Borat says how the two other women at the table would be hot commodities in his country but not the Plain Jane (Gingrich lookalike's wife). Many other funny moments. 3.25 stars out of 5.
