it's over. there is no movie i can recommend more than this. holy shit. they're breeding an american al-qaeda generation of kids.

 

I think that's some pretty over the top reaction to Jesus Camp. There are so many wacked-out factions in this country -- from the neo-nazi skinheads to militant Black Panther wannabes to garden-variety libertarians to whatever -- claiming that they on the cusp of bringing this country down, I've lost interest. Yawn. Not going to happen.

 

how many of those grops have 30 million-plus members? anyway, we'll see what changes occur, if any, in 10 years.

 

Exactly. The difference is that these people are a social and political force in our country, not some fringe element.

 

Can't wait to see I am Legend. Will Smith is one of my favourite actors and the trailer looks good.

 

Jesus Camp sends its kids to Christian academies and thence to Patrick Henry College and Bob Jones University and thence -- according to Monica Goodling -- into places like the Department of Justice. I don;t think skinheads have that kind of infrastructure in place.

 

sherry baby ... sj fave maggie gyllenhall shows her boobies and plays a smackhead just out of jail trying to rebuild her life and start a relationship with her daughter. sort of anti-climactic. 2 stars.

Xan, just wondering, but in every movie review you list who bares their chest or has a sex scene. Do you look for movies with these or do you just stumble across them?

 

i couldn't care less about nudity in movies. i don't go seeking movies with nudity. i venture to say i watch few movies with nudity. i watch movies because i love movies, tits or no tits.

 

I'm more curious about the fact that Xan apparently watches 3 movies a day. How do you find the time to watch so many movies, Xan?
