Is Beowulf worth waiting to see on IMAX? And would anyone say the same thing about I Am Legend? I'm about thisclose from going out and buying the book before seeing the movie.

half-nelson ... good viewing. gritty. gosseling plays a history teacher with a smack problem. some of his usage scenes, in relation to the cinematography, took me bck to the good ol' days. shareeka epps is great as the teenage girl with little going for her except for herself. she's a star on the rise. 3.25 stars.

I saw it yesterday, and it is as advertised. Funny, sweet and more than a little bit melancholy in some spots. Really great performances from the entire cast, but especially Ellen Page. My main quibble is with Jason Bateman's character, but it in no way brings the rest of the film down. Fox Searchlight is doing a boatload of free screenings between now and next week - go to www.foxsearchlight.com to sign up if there's one in your area.

Saw 'No Country for Old Men'. Stupidest ending ever.

On Beowulf -- yes. I saw it both ways, it was good on the regular screen, and amazing on the IMAS, course I'm a big animation person.

The Break-Up ... Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Anniston and a strong cast, including Ann Margaret. Enjoyed the storyline, and for the most part, the performances. 3 stars.

"Talk to Me:" Don Cheadle is awesome. Don't know how true it is to actual events, but I thought it was a really well-made movie. 3.5 out of 4 stars.

"Ocean's 13:" What a waste of time. The first one was so whimsical and fun, so disappointing now. However, it was the first Pacino movie I've seen in a while where he doesn't yell. Plus, Ellen Barken is a hell of a lot hotter than I remember. 1.5 out 4 stars.

"Futurama: Bender's Big Score:" It's back and it still rocks. Four out of four, baby.

I've actually wanted to see this for a while. I've heard really good things. Also, agreed about Boondock Saints being a great movie. I've watched it probably 15+ times.
