I saw Shoot Em Up with Clive Owen last night. It was on my Netflix.

It's the worst movie I have ever seen. Seriously, I have never seen a shittier film. I know it is tough to compare an action movie with something like Problem Child, but they both were equally horrible.

Just a complete waste of time, money and effort.

There are starving people in this world, and this garbage was still made.

I'll argue that Day Lewis is not a shoo in if Gordon Pinsent gets a nod for his performance in Away From Her. If he's nominated, he has a great shot to win the nod.

"No County for Old Men" was a better film than "There Will Be Blood."
And, typical of Coen films, there wasn't a central character. Yet, an amassing of wonderful parts.

I watched When We Were Soldiers for the first time since I saw it 6 years ago in the theater and I didn't remember how graphic it is. Pretty good movie. I know not a lot of people liked it, but I really did especially the haunting music that was used throughout.

Mrs. OOP and I saw it tonight. I do love it when it's her turn and we end up seeing something I don't hate.

She was crying near the end. When the lights came up, the old guy next to me said, very loudly, it was too corny. I can see both points of view. It's a Rob Reiner film. That means it is a little corny and things do fit together a little too neatly in the end.

Parts of it were pretty depressing. If you have ever watched somebody close to you suffer through cancer, some of this movie will probably get to you. But the movie has its funny moments and Nicholson and Freeman are both outstanding.

I doubt it. I haven't even heard his name mentioned among possibilities to get a nomination, which doesn't exactly make him a threat to win it.

Christie is this movie's recognition point on Oscar night.... I agree with that.

The male acting categories are stuffed to the gills.... many deserving guys are going to be left off, and Pinsent is one. He and Christie both were exceptional.

B-L-A-S-fuckin'-phemy! Problem Child is a great movie. Problem Child 2 is even better.

Did you know it's supposed to be an action movie spoof film? I haven't seen it, but I heard Clive Owen kills a man with a carrot.

I cannot wait to see that. I'm pretty sure that no one took themselves seriously at any point of that movie.

If it was a five minute skit on SNL, then I could buy it. But this was 80 minutes. 80 minutes of the same joke?

I just put Once In A Lifetime into my Netflix queue....

Has anyone seen this New York Cosmos documentary?
