I will now NEVER watch this movie. I hate it when dogs die in flicks. Worst ever was My Dog Skip

Dammit. Didn't mean to play spoiler. Still a worthwhile flick.

Yeah, that sucked big time. I loved that dog. I thought the Bob Marley stuff was kind of cool. It kind of fit with the fact that the Neville character was so passionate about finding a cure.

It's OK. I'll still watch it, but at my older age I tend to shed more tears over that kind of stuff than I ever did.

Aight. Just sayin'. In Bruges. Awesomely awesome to a level of awesomeness that you can't conceive. I'm out and what not.

Yeah, I will keep that one in mind. That being said. I'm out too. Have to get up in 4 hours. Sigh ... retail.

That scene hit me also, partially because my dog was sitting next to me on the couch.

    Recent movies:

Hellboy 2: One of my favorite movies of the year. Special effects were badass, excellent mix of action/comedy/drama.

Letters from Iwo Jima: Epic war film, must-see for WWII fans. One of the best movies from the last few years.

Flags of our Fathers: Definitely good, hard to live up to Iwo Jima, didn't like how there was lots of flashbacks. Focused more on the actual infamous picture than the war.

  9. "Rachel Is Getting Married."
Halfway through, I was so wishing for the cholera outbreak.
All that suck, and bad violin music, too.
Jonathan Demme owes me nine bucks.

Just watched "48 Hours" for the first time since I was a kid. That flick does not hold up well some 26 years later.

The chemistry between Nolte and Murphy is still there, and the jokes are still funny, but the plot is pretty lame and the film as a whole suffered because of it.

    I'd say 6/10.

You could pretty much tell the dog was going to die from the previews, and I was hesitant to see it because I don't do well with that. But I figured surely it wouldn't be too graphic or drawn out -- WRONG. My wife actually had to leave the theater. Movie execs research the hell out of everything -- how can they not understand how sensitive a lot of people are to that?

I felt they tugged on the heart strings, which they were trying to do - it was a good call.
