Yeah Gyllenhall was fantastic in Zodiac. Downey was playing a role that is pretty close to what he actually was for a long time.

Zodiac was quite good, but to suggest it was better than TDK is indeed insane.

It just wasn't in any way, shape, or form.

  3. I thought TDK was at least 25 minutes too long.

Just took the S.O. to see Four Christmases (sp*) and it was pretty solid, though at times it felt pretty long.

Loved the opening, loved the first get-together with family and loved the ending but the middle dragged a bit.

Still, gotta love Vince Vaughn. That guy makes just about anything watchable for me.

Agreed. The last 25 minutes seemed to just be set up for the next film.

I didn't care for Zodiac much at all.

I don't know if I have seen a creepier scene than when the car comes back to the lover's lane.

Now, Hurdy Gurdy Man scares the shit out of me.

No shit!!! The scene by the lake in broad daylight was kind of scary also.

Not many people have basements in California.

Anybody heard much about Seven Pounds? Mrs. OOP wants to see that this weekend. I keep trying to talk her into The Wrestler or Frost/Nixon, but no luck so far. We have seen a lot of my choices lately, so I can't argue too much.
