Good luck, Moddy. Stay focused. Stay motivated. You'll be fine.

I've always said "if you want to make the money, you need to be the boss."

I recently started my own venture — on the side, mind you. And probably for only a second income — but nothing, and I mean nothing, has been as rewarding than being my own boss.

Good luck. Enjoy. Keep us posted.

Can't say enough about the guy who runs that Harris company. Good luck with the new venture, big man!

What does Clarence Clemons have to do with this.

    Good luck, Moddy.

I predict that, within two years, a client will be wanting to bring you in-house. (But that's OK -- you'll be due for another big decision. :))

Congratulations for having the guts and courage to follow your heart and dreams. While there may be some rough times along the way, I know you'll succeed.

I really have come to respect you as one of the best people on SportsJournalists.com, so I hope you'll stick around as time permits.

    Good luck!

Much, much respect - and yeah, a healthy amount of envy - to Moddy for having the guts to take this plunge in these times.

Good luck to you, Moddy. When this succeeds, don't forget we little people.

    God save The Queen. :)

Seriously, best of luck to you and I'm quite curious to learn more about the decision. Will you continue teaching at VCU? Do you have a class this semester?

I do not. They offer their electives one semester only. I have discussed doing my class for them next year. I'm willing but it will be at my price, not theirs. No good neighbor discounts.

Congrats, Moddy. You got balls as big as church bells. If you need anything, call Sonner or Hustle. :)
