This is very good news indeed, assuming it gets fully deployed as it appears it will be. Thread.

 

I saw that earlier ... look, I've been around a LOT of people lately covering like seven championships in five weeks. I don't feel anything (cue Nihilist Arby's) but if there was a rapid, cheap COVID test, I'd take it at this point just be certain. I've taken every precaution, but a good friend did too and he somehow ended up with it. Thankfully most of my work and interactions with people are outside, so that helps.

 

A rapid, reliable, affordable and widely available testing solution is exactly how we move past all of this.

 

Some interesting points here. I wondered many of these things while reading The Athletic Q&A.

 

Needs to be like a pregnancy test. Piss on a stick and see if the stick changes color.
