Yeah, they couldn't pay me to walk into the gym today or in the weeks ahead.

Thanks. That is what I’m doing. Have barely been out of bed today.

Worst part is staying away from my family.

David Crosby has been clean of drugs for years and has been touring for longer than he has been clean. How is he still vulnerable to this sort of thing?

The last CSN tour was about five years ago, give or take. It's not like they're putting out hits, bringing in a fresh income stream. Most people get music from streaming services, which pay the artists micro-pennies on their back catalogues. My guess is that he spent money figuring that there would be another tour to fill the coffers. Indeed, the article says that he was going out on tour from May to December, which would have made his finances well for a couple of years to come. There are a lot of people associated with even a small tour who have to be paid or who take a percentage. He's old and in poor health, I don't know how many more tours he has left in him.

I recently saw a Dan Rather interview with CSN, which was extremely good. I have sort of fallen down a Youtube rabbit hole since, and have looked at a number of Crosby interviews/performances. Fascinating guy, who fell to absolute rock bottom, prison and a liver transplant forced by years of addiction. He was literally within weeks of death when he finally got a match for the transplant. He's harsh on himself for his actions and decisions while involved with hard drugs, and is completely unflinching in describing that time of his life in his autobiography. Interesting and extremely talented cat.

Rather has a whole series of these interviews. I was not aware of them until I ran up on this one. Many are with rockers. Rather is still a damn good journalist, and these are very interesting.

I’m shopping for a used vehicle today, probably not a good idea. But my truck’s auto transmission has started only driving in 2nd. After more than 200k miles, it’s past time.

Really, at this point one to one contact isn't all that risky. Sure, the guy you get it from might have it, but not likely. Same for his germs inside it. Don't spit in your palm and shake on the deal and you're ok.

Yeah, forget the toilet paper. Stock up on essentials.

I can get plenty of beer a couple of blocks from here. You can't find toilet paper for miles.
