I'm not going to wish death upon Scott Atlas. Because I'm not a ghoul.

But I'm certainly not going to give even the remotely slightest fuck if he dies.

 

Only a few days ago, he was asked in a media Zoom call if he was concerned by the escalating rates in NYS as a whole and in NYC in particular. I think he said something like, "I'm not in New York City, so I'm not concerned." Not a wise thing to say under any circumstances.

 

Instead, he shrugs. That's what the Trumpist Ayn Rand klan does.

 

I think the podcast was Benjamin Wittes, but Atlas has written some highly precise radiology text that has become standard issuance. He was the top of his field.

 

So was Ben Carson.

Sister-in-law's best friend had been having heart issues. Almost died in the spring, recently got a pacemaker. Turns out she has Covid antibodies. The doctors are confident that she had it in February. In Detroit.

 

Seems like that's not an isolated attitude.
