The number of people I know who are getting covid plus the number of people my friends know who are getting covid, is climbing exponentially.

 

COVID 19 is nothing to trifle with, that is for certain.

 

As an employment lawyer, the lead up to and especially the fall out from holiday parties was always a busy time. Obviously not this year unless you are dealing with a Toobin-like Zoom issue.

 

I still don't think people *get* that it's that bad right now. Like "yeah, yeah, COVID, we've been dealing with it for almost a year, we know how it works" seems to be the theme.

More people are going to be infected between November and mid-January than were infected in the entire run from February through October.

 

We've been told for nine months how it’s not that big of a deal, so I kind of get it.
