I had a 100lb OE Sheepdog mix when the melamine scare hit the news. I made "chicken butter" for the big guy. He loved it. The smell was awful. I even tried making kibble at one point. He and his successor ended up eating a mix of meat, veggies, and brown rice.

 

Oscar, I hear you, my wife was able to whip something up during that fiasco that was reasonably edible.

I worked with a woman years back who'd lost her dog to one of those taintings. If that were me I do not know what I'd do. It wouldn't be pleasant, and it would get me arrested.

 

In other disease-related news, US orange growers are spraying their crops with antibiotics, to combat greening that produces smaller than normal fruit which then turn green and die.

So are you changing your mind about Trump? If he were more competent, coronavirus might not be as prevalent at the moment.

 

Not really. I’m a Romney/Ryan/Kasich Republican. Won’t vote for Trump but likely will move down ballot.
