    You need to find the coupon, otherwise it is $29.99 a case - for that price it better clean your bathroom as well as your behind.

    I went to a BJs and four different grocery stores this weekend and it was interesting to see the differences. None had toilet paper. A couple had no meat, a couple had plenty of meat. Same with water. Among them, I managed to get everything I need to hole up for a while. I already had hand sanitizer, which is good because none had that.

    I also have 200 K-Cups and plenty of dog food.

    I saw an article yesterday about Beirut being all but completely shut down, with a note to the effect of "the citizens of Beirut have long experience of threats of civil disasters".

    Personally, I would not travel. There's a risk of getting stuck somewhere if transport shuts down, and if I'm going to get sick I'd far rather be close to home.

    It was a good morning. I found antibacterial cleaner and hand soap. Topped up on kleenex, tylenol, mucinex, and guafenisen. Put in a solid grocery run for non-perishable staples. I'm not buying a lot that I normally would not, but my quantities on hand are larger than normal. We're good for a couple of weeks if needful. I still need to make a trip to the liquor store, but that's quality of life, not survival stuff.

    In normal times, if you told me I could go to Vegas on a mostly-empty plane, get around on the Strip easily and not have to shoehorn myself into crowded tables with high minimums, I'd ask when we are leaving.
