My hubby got his second shot Thursday. Moderna. Absolutely no side effects except a sore arm.

I do not know how many people you discuss COVID 19 with in person, but when I express optimism, it seems to upset people. At the least, they “push back.” It seems that people worry one is trying to grant himself permission to act recklessly. Many want to do their part to “hold down the fort” right now, and part of that includes not trusting others to make good decisions on their own.

I am never an optimist and these look promising for Florida

And if it looks better in Florida, just think what it looks like in states that follow Covid protocols.

If you follow Stain’s logic, that doesn’t necessarily apply, since places that are bad at virus mitigation get past it quicker (at the cost of more victims).

Bewilderingly similar. The current mass decline looks remarkably similar both domestically and internationally between the places that take restrictions seriously and the ones that don't.

I wonder how much an effect the uncounted cases are having. We could be a lot closer to herd immunity the hard way if the ratio of uncounted to counted is even 8-to-1, as has been estimated.

covid19-projections.com is the go-to for this estimate.
