You know those coaches who convince their team every game that those other guys are the biggest challenge yet and nobody thinks they can win unless they dig deep and all that shit? Even if they're favored to win by 40? That's Fauci's job.

 

This goes to my point I've made many times on this thread ... I'm fine with going out in a limited capacity, which is all we can do in my state anyway, with proper precautions in place. I have noticed some people trying to start to flout the mask mandate but the three places that I've faithfully gone to since this whole thing started are having none of it. Bartender screamed at some dude who tried to walk in on Saturday with his shirt over his nose. We've been at this a year, how dumb are you not to have a damn mask on you?

No way I would go out in places like Florida where they've seemingly just given up. Or to any packed venue. I'm too close to getting my jab to want to jeopardize it at this point.

Yep, that's the caveat. Europe has done a terrible job with its vaccination program. Still, going full out like it's over on Spring Break in Florida seems like a terrible idea.

 

Sputnik V is in 51 countries, but EMA says approval for EU nations won't come until May. Hungary and Slovakia said fuck that and already are using the vaccine.

 

For the first 6 months or so every time we went to a store I could not shake the feeling that we were going in to rob it. Influence of tv and movies I guess.
